Subscription Update Obituary

     Mr. Robert P. Mancini, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 4th. Robert was born on May 21, 1929 in Worcester, a son of the late Michael and Mary (Fazio) Mancini. A lifelong resident of Worcester, Robert was educated through the Worcester Schools. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Robert worked as a machinist for over forty years, most recently at Sem-Tec up until his retirement. Over the last few years he worked for Fortin’s Grocery Market filling home shopping orders, at Stop and Shop in the Bakery Dept. and as a crossing guard for the Worcester Public Schools. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Evelyn (Litchfield) Mancini, two sons, Jeffrey Mancini and his wife Lorraine, Jody Mancini; two daughters, Robin Mancini, Wendy Mancini and her husband Paul Annand; a brother, Rudolph Mancini; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. His funeral will take place on Monday, April 10th at FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St Worcester. Visiting hours will be from 9:30 to 11:00am on Monday, April 10th followed by a prayer service at 11:00am in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Louis M. Fazio Jr. and Louis M. Fazio III. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society or Veterans Inc.
