Subscription Update Obituary

Phyllis E. (Jones) Gasco, 89 of West Palm Beach, FL (formerly of Sutton, MA) passed away suddenly at Sarasota Memorial Hospital April 15, 2022.

Phyllis leaves behind 4 children from a prior marriage: Raymond Soderman and his wife Gail of North Port, FL, Gary Soderman of Douglas, MA, Sandra (Soderman) Stopyra of Worcester, MA , Cynthia (Soderman) St. Andre and husband Michael of Sutton, MA and former daughter-in-law Debra Soderman of Douglas, MA. She also leaves behind 4 step-children: Gail (Gasco) Soderman, William Gasco, David Gasco and Joseph Allen-Gasco.

Phyllis was pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years, John L. Gasco. She is the daughter of Edith (Benson/Berndston) Jones and Clyde Jones. She is also pre-deceased by her brothers, Robert, Clyde (Melvin), William and sister Joyce Wilson.

Phyllis leaves her brother Thomas Jones and his wife Barbara of Windemere, FL, plus 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren plus many nieces and nephews. Phyllis loved all animals and had many Pomeranians throughout her lifetime. She and her late husband enjoyed cruising, sports and watching the many birds that visited their bird bath and bird feeders.

She attended Millbury High School and worked at Tuppers in So. Grafton and Joseph Levitt Corp, Worcester, MA.

She will be sadly missed and remain forever in our hearts.

Worcester County Memorial Cemetery, Paxton will be handling burial arrangements at the convenience of the family.
