Subscription Update Obituary

John L. Gasco, 87 of West Palm Beach, Fl (formerly of Sutton, MA) passed away January 22, 2021. John left behind Phyllis (Jones) Gasco, his beloved wife of 50 years. He also leaves his 4 children from a prior marriage: Gail (Gasco) Soderman and husband Raymond Soderman of North Port, Florida, William Gasco and wife Michelle of Vero Beach, FL, David Gasco of Lake Isabella, CA and Joseph Allen-Gasco and husband Robert of Fountain Inn, SC. He also leaves 4 step-children, Raymond and Gary Soderman, Sandra (Soderman) Stopyra and Cynthia (Soderman) St. Andre.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Mildred (Hazelwood) Gasco Savoie and Felix Gasco of Millbury, MA, his brothers, Felix, Albert (Joe), James, Robert and his sister Sarah.

He has 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren plus many nieces and nephews. John went on many cruises with his wife. He loved all sports and especially the Boston Red Sox and NE Patriots. He once coached a little league team in South Grafton.

John graduated from Millbury High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked in plastics most of his working years including: Tuppers, Tredegar, South Grafton, MA , plus Dapol Plastics, Impco and Risdon.

He will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.

Worcester County Memorial Cemetery, Paxton will be handling burial arrangements at the convenience of the family.
