Subscription Update Obituary

Pauline L. (Roy) Menard, 79, of Worcester, passed away peacefully in Saint Mary Healthcare Center on Thursday, December 1, 2022 after an illness.

Mrs. Menard was married for 62 years to the late Robert Menard who died on April 25, 2022. She is survived by her four children, Diana T. Devereaux and her husband, Brian of Sterling, Robert L. Menard Jr. and his wife, Mary of Millbury, Christopher A. Menard and his wife, Robin of Fitchburg and Cindy M. Menard of Worcester; a brother, Richard Roy of Worcester; three sisters, Florence Cruz of Auburn, Louise Martin of Oxford and Monique Gibney of Auburn; 6 grandchildren, Scott Menard, Timothy Devereaux, Corey Menard and his fianceé Kelsey Cote, Zachary Menard, Sean Menard and Andrew Devereaux; 3 great grandchildren, Eleanor, Vincent and Everett and many nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Menard was born in West Stewartstown, NH, daughter of the late George and Marie (Pariseau) Roy.

She worked for the former Worcester City Hospital and retired from the College of the Holy Cross in food services where she worked many years as a baker. Pauline could often be found listening to music, sewing or crocheting something, but she was truly the happiest when she was able to be with her family and bake for them, especially cakes.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 6, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Sacred Heart – St. Catherine of Sweden Church 600 Cambridge St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home before the funeral. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mary Healthcare Center “Patient Activity Fund” 39 Queen St. Worcester, MA 01610
