Subscription Update Obituary

    Mary E. (Statuto) Dorr, 83, of Auburn, died December 31st in the Life Care Center of Auburn. Her husband of 49 years, Roger P. Dorr died in 2009. She is survived by her five daughters, Therese M. Langevin of Spencer, Kathleen M. Rogers and her husband, Daniel of Auburn, ME, Donna M. Bill and her husband, John of Worcester, Karen M. Dorr and her husband, Robert Myers of Amherst, NH and Anne M. Dorr of Brooklyn, NY., two sisters, Miriam McGuire of Norwood and Loretta LaCamera of Westwood; ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Lynette, Samantha, Eleanor, Matthew, Nicole, Patrick, Ashley, Laura and Charlotte; nine great-grandchildren; three nephews, John, Charles and Richard Sullivan and a niece, Patricia Ward. Two brothers, Richard and Francis Lynch and a sister, Patricia Sullivan predeceased her.

She was born in Revere, the daughter of Charles and Eleanor (Lyons) Statuto; and had one time been employed by Prudential Insurance as a senior clerk. Mary was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish and enjoyed cookouts with family and friends, but her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated and caring staff at the Life Care Center of Auburn for the wonderful care provided.

Her funeral is Saturday, January 6th with a funeral Mass at Noon in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. (Please meet at church.) Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. Calling hours are Friday, January 5th from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.
