Subscription Update Obituary

     Marie Dorothy (Bousquet) Consolmagno, 83, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2016.

Marie is survived by her loving husband of nearly fifty-nine years, Robert H. Consolmagno, two sons, Mark Consolmagno and his wife Teresa of Barre, and Alan A. Consolmagno and his wife Christine of Worcester, a daughter, Lisa A. Barner and her husband Kenneth of Newark, DE, nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Chris E. Consolmagno in 2001, two brothers, Paul Bousquet and Edward Bousquet, and a sister, Jean Paquette. Marie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Arthur J. and Alma A. (Drolet) Bousquet, and lived here most of her life.

She graduated from Saint Vincent Hospital School of Nursing, and worked as a nurse for many years, before retiring to raise her family. Not one to be idle, she worked for several years as a clerk at Marshalls after her children were in school. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, and enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and completing puzzles of any kind. Her greatest joy was the special time she could spend with her family and her cherished grandchildren.

Calling Hours for Marie will be on Monday, April 25, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be on Tuesday, April 26, departing from the funeral in procession at 9:40 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Our Lady of Providence Food Pantry, 7 Auburn Street, Worcester, MA, 01605.
