Linda Mae (Converse) Davis, 61, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at UMASS Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She leaves her husband of 29 years, William D. Davis; a daughter, Gwen I. Davis of Worcester; a sister, Sharon Welch and her husband John of Worcester; a brother-in-law, John Callahan of Franklin; many nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Callahan.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Donald A. and Florence A. (Johnson) Converse and graduated from Commerce High School. Linda worked at American Standard Incorporated for many years. She was an active volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Linda liked to crochet, hook rugs and she loved lighthouses.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-6 PM on Thursday, June 9 at LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street. Burial in Worcester County Memorial Park will be private.
