Kenneth F. Vassar,85, of Charlton, It is with sadness that our family has to announce the death of Kenneth. He died peacefully on Saturday, April 13,2024 surrounded by his loved ones.

Kenneth was born on June 9,1938 in Worcester the son of the late Francis and Nellie ( Varaska ) Vassar. He leaves his son Jeffrey & his wife Michelle (Giroux) Vassar; a granddaughter Taylor M. Vassar; a great granddaughter Mia N. Vassar all of Charlton; a brother Richard Vassar; 2 sisters Linda Angers and Patricia Vassar all of Millbury. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Adubato) Vassar and a brother Leonard Vassar.

He attended Millbury High School and then joined the US Airforce in 1956-1960. He worked for Pratt Whiney for several years and New England Power (National Grid) for many years until he retired in 1998.

Ken enjoyed woodworking, vacations with his wife and relaxing by the pool with family and friends.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Friday, April 19,2024 at 11:30AM in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 9:45-10:45AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. North Brookfield.
