Subscription Update Obituary

     Joanne V. (Seguin) St. Martin, 82, of Worcester, died peacefully on Sunday, April 10th in Saint Vincent Hospital while surrounded by her loving family.

Joanne is survived by her husband of 61 years, Philip G. St. Martin; 2 sons, Richard P. St. Martin and his wife, Donna of Worcester and Robert A. St. Martin and his wife Kathy, of Dracut; 3 daughters, Susan J. St. Martin, Denise A. Mills and Jacqueline M. St. Martin all of Worcester; 8 grandchildren, Christina, Emily, Amanda, Michael, Nicole, Noelle, Brooke and Brenna; a brother in law, Paul St. Martin and his wife Jilda of Worcester; a sister in law, Alida Tousignant of Worcester and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Joanne was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Roland A. and Rhea L. (Graveline) Seguin and is also predeceased by a sister, Theresa Seguin.

Joanne is a graduate of Holy Name High School and worked for the former Paul Revere Insurance Company and then worked with her husband at the District Office – Branch E of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette on Main St. for many years.

Joanne was a longtime member of the Cathedral of St. Paul Parish. She was a wonderful mother and friend that enjoyed being with her family and spending time at the beach, especially, Hampton Beach, Old Orchard Beach and Cape Cod.

The family would like to thank the staff of the St. Vincent Hospital ICU, most especially Maryellen RN, for their compassionate care during Joanne’s illness.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 14th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in the Cathedral of Saint Paul 15 Chatham Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 13th from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Joanne, may be made to St. Mary’s Healthcare Center Patient Activity Fund, 39 Queen St. Worcester, MA 01610.
