Subscription Update Obituary

Jean G. (Connor) Gagnon, 88, of Worcester died Saturday, March 12th in the St. Francis Home. Her husband of 67 years, Arthur M. Gagnon died in 2009. She is survived by two sons, John T. Gagnon and his wife, Kathleen of Spencer and Philip M. Gagnon and his wife, Deborah of Worcester; three daughters, Deborah J. Bolivar and her husband, Jimmie of Worcester, Patti A. Maybay and her husband, Arthur of Oxford and Jean M. Cerrone and her husband, Richard of Worcester; her brother, David M. Connor and his wife, Kathleen of Fitchburg; 14 grand children and 22 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.. She was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.

Jean was born in Worcester, the daughter of Francis L and Gladys M. (Turner) Connor and attended Commerce High School. She had worked as on operator for AATM Call Center and later for Marane Oil for many years before retiring. Jean was a former member of the 39er’s Club and St. Andrew the Apostle Church and a member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo, but her greatest joy was time spent with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.

Her funeral is Friday, March 18th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with her funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 600 Cambridge Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 17th from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
