Subscription Update Obituary

Gail N. (Huard) Ruo, 75, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

Gail was married for 52 years to the late Dominick J. Ruo Jr. who died in 2023. She is survived by her three daughters, Tina Nietupski of Palmer, Cindy Ruo of Worcester and Lisa Ruo of Worcester; a sister, Sandra Wirtanen of Worcester; two grandchildren, Kristen Barnes and Iesha Sahin and many nephews and nieces.

She was born in Worcester daughter of the late Roger L. and Carole M. (Horne) Huard and is also was preceded in death by her sisters, Tishie O’Connor and Cheryl Hopkins and a brother, Alan Huard

Gail dedicated her life to her family, she was a stay at home mom that always placed the needs of others before her own. She was the happiest when she was able to be with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She made it a point to always let people know that her home was welcome for everyone to come and gather at any point in time with or without an invitation.

Funeral services are being held privately. Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 33 Ward St. Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with funeral arrangements. St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
