Frances G. (Sullivan) Oger, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 6th after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Frances’s husband, Kenneth W. Oger, I passed away in 2012.  She leaves a son, Kenneth W. Oger, II and his wife, Alta of Sutton; a daughter, Beth V. Oger and her fiancé, Dr. Daniel S. Jordan of Millbury, two grandsons, Kenneth W. Oger, III and Timothy R. Oger of Sutton; many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her parents, Francis and Margaret (McElroy) Sullivan and her sister, Rita Mailman.

Frances loved to bowl, play cards, garden and traveling with her husband.  Franny was a wonderfully strong woman who was full of Irish wit and spunk with a strong work ethic and always had a sparkle in her eye.  What was always most evident was the abundant love for her husband of almost 60 years, her children, her grandchildren, her family, friends and all those who were lucky enough to meet her.  She will be missed and her legacy of pure caring and love will live forever.

Family and friends will honor and remember Frances’s life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, May 10th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.

Her funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, May 11th at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
