Subscription Update Obituary

       Kenneth W. Oger I., 85, died Friday, July 20, 2012 in his home, after being stricken ill.
He leaves his wife of 59 years, Frances G. (Sullivan) Oger; a son, Kenneth W. Oger II and his wife, Alta of Sutton; a daughter, Beth V. Oger and her fiance, Dr. Daniel S. Jordan of New Jersey; two grandsons, Kenneth W. III and Timothy R. Oger of Sutton and a sister, Doris Stoliker of Westborough. He was the son of the late Arthur and Celia (Belanger) Oger.
     Kenneth served in the US Navy during WWII in Iwo Jima, he was discharged in 1946. He worked for Lodding Engineering/Thermo Electron retiring after 46 years. Ken was a member and past District Director of the American Welding Society. He was a Mason for over 50 years and was a member of the Olive Branch Lodge in Millbury. He was also a member of the Shriners. Ken enjoyed fishing and working on carpentry projects.
     Kenneth’s calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 25th from 5 to 8 p.m in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. His funeral service and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org.
