Eva M. (Burbo) Gelardi, 72, of 128 Elm St. died Friday at Providence Extended Care Facility, 119 Providence St.

   She leaves her husband of 47 years, Charles A. Gelardi; a son, Charles A. Gelardi Jr. of Worcester; a daughter, Marcia D’Eramo of Webster; a brother, Elmer “Raymond” Burbo of Worcester; two sisters, Florence Jenny of Worcester and Viola LaMonte of Burlington, Vt, daughter of Frank and Selina (Clodgo) Burbo, and came here in 1938.  She graduated from Burlington High School.

   Mrs. Gelardi once worked at St. Agnes Orphanage, and was later a nurse’s aide at St. Vincent Hospital.  She retired many years ago from Worcester Molded Plastics co., where she worked for 10 years.  She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.  She was an avid bingo player.

   The funeral will be held tomorrow from Mercadante Funeral Home, 370 Plantation St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  Calling hours are 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Providence Extended Care Facility Activity Fund, 119 Providence St. Worcester, 01604.
