Concetta (Palermo) Caputo, 94, of Leominster, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Boston Medical Center.

Connie was married to the late Anthony J. Caputo for over 60 years, who passed away in 2017. She is survived by her son Stanley and his wife June Caputo of Bonita Springs, FL, her daughter Kathleen and her husband Joseph Gallagher of Ipswich, MA, her son David and his wife Sandra Caputo of Spencer, MA, her cherished 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Caputo was born in West Boylston, daughter of the late Gaetano and Angelina (Favara) Palermo and is predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters.

Connie worked for many years at the former Chess King Company and Brown Shoe Company. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for her grandchildren, cooking homemade Italian food and baking for family whenever they got together. She was the happiest when she was doting on her grandchildren, tending her vegetable garden, and spending time with family and friends.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 11, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a Mass at 11 AM at St Peter’s Church 929 Main St. Worcester, MA. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home prior to the funeral.
