     Carol A. (Polissack) Henry, 62, of 5010 Mascaro Drive, formerly of Worcester, died Tuesday, May 24th in Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her husband of 35 years, John P. Henry, a daughter, Tracy M. wife of Douglas R. St. Jean of Auburn, 3 sons, Sean M. Henry of Jackson, WY, Christopher M. Henry of Worcester, John M. Orcutt and his wife Kelly L. of Auburn, a brother, Henry Polissack of Northhampton, 6 granddaughters, a great grandson, best friend of 31 years, Mary Babbidge of Worcester, 2 half brothers, Edward and John, 2 half sisters, Robin and Marybeth, 2 brother-in-laws, Paul Henry and his wife Doris of Worcester and Michael Henry and his wife Peg of Worcester, a sister-in-law, Maureen Henry of Worcester, stepmother, Lil F. Polissack, many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Edward J. and Eva M. (Verdini) Polissack and graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. Henry was the dedicated owner and operator of The Lingerie Shop on Park Avenue for 20 years, until retiring in 2002. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, scrabble and crossword puzzles.

The funeral service is Saturday, May 28th at 10:30 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will be at the family’s convenience. Calling hours are Friday, May 27th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UMass Memorial Foundation, Oncology Research, P.O. Box 2795, Worcester, MA, 01613.
