Carlton V. Burgess just shy of 95 years old passed away peacefully on Friday May 27, 2022 in St. Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 64 years Constance “Connie” A ( LaVoie) Burgess pre deceased him in 2014. He leaves children-Donna M. Maki and her husband Robert Maki of Worcester, Patricia A. Olson and her husband Michael Olson Sr. Of NH, Richard W. Burgess and his wife Kathleen M. Burgess of North Conway, SC, Robert C. Burgess and his wife Patricia Burgess of Worcester, Nancy J. Lundberg and her husband Bradley Lundberg of St. Petersburg, FL, Cathleen M. Warner and her husband Dana Warner of Worcester, Lori A. DeFlorio of Worcester, 19 grandchildren Sharlene, Christine “Tina”, Michael Jr., Brian, Kate, Julie, Danial, Craig, Malinda, Randie, Cory, Rebecca, Jacob, Anjelica, Jarret, Samantha, Beth, Sarah, and Jordan, and many great grandchildren, he is predeceased by a granddaughter Heather Lynne Burgess. He was very fond of his long life personal care giver Desiree.

Carl was born in Buffalo, NY, son of Sinclair Burgess of Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada and Greta Burgess Erickson of Worcester. He graduated from Boys Trade of Worcester, MA and proudly served his country in the Navy. He worked Sheet Metal Locals 127 and 63. He enjoyed family, friends, camping and traveling especially to Las Vegas and Hawaii.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A graveside service and burial will be held on July 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
