Bettyann (Chiras) Bjorkman, 53, of Worcester died on Friday, Sept. 21 at home.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James P. Bjorkman; three sons, Michael J. of Southbridge, James A. of Worcester and Richard R. of Millbury; a brother, Thomas Chiras; a sister, Pauline Dufresne both of Worcester and Ruth Hood of Brookfield; 2 grandchildren and nephews and nieces. Mrs. Bjorkman was born in Whitinsville daughter of Peter and Ruth (Braman) Chiras and is predeceased by two brothers, Peter and John Chiras and a sister, Linda Vandella. Bettyann previously worked for the Worcester Public Schools.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, Sept. 24 at 12 Noon in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
