Subscription Update Obituary

Alice T. (King) Pellerin, 94, of Worcester passed away on Wednesday April 20, 2022 in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 58 years, John O. Pellerin died in 2007.

Alice is survived by her son, John E. Pellerin and his wife, Donna of Lancaster; two grandsons, Benjamin Pellerin and Matthew Pellerin and nieces and nephews. Alice was born and raised in Farnumsville, a daughter of the late Ludovic and Aldea (Cote) King and has lived in Worcester for most of her life. Alice was also predeceased by all of her siblings.

Mrs. Pellerin was a private family Nanny for 30 years in the Worcester area before she retired. Alice was a volunteer for the Worcester Senior Center. Mrs. Pellerin was skilled at crocheting and knitting and crocheted many items including countless hats, scarves, and lap robes for Why Me & Sherry’s House, the Worcester Senior Center, Worcester Police Dept., and area veterans as well as carriage robes for premature babies. Alice was a former member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a former member of St. Joseph’s Church and its Ladies of St. Anne Sodality.

Mrs. Pellerin’s private graveside service will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Why Me & Sherry’s House, 1152 Pleasant St, Worcester, Ma., 01602 or to the Friends of Worcester’s Senior Center, 128 Providence St., Box 3 Worcester, Ma., 01604. DIRSA – MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street has care of the funeral arrangements.
