Subscription Update Obituary

     Yvette “Donna” M. (Faucher) Dombrowski, 74, formerly of Sterling, passed away peacefully at her home under the loving care of her husband, Ron, on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

Donna was born February 2, 1943 in Asheville, NC, daughter of the late Lorenzo E. and Yvette L. (Guilbert) Faucher, and lived in Sterling for 21 years. Previously she lived 8 years in Maine before moving to Rutland in 2012.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from Anna Maria College in Paxton and was a fourth grade teacher in Sterling at Houghton Elementary School for over 40 years.

Donna was passionate about raising horses and was a former member of the Western Riders Club. She also raised Dalmatians, was an avid reader and a member of several book clubs.

Besides her husband of 35 years, Ronald F. Dombrowski, she will be lovingly missed by her son, Keith C. Dombrowski and his wife, Racheal of Gallatin, TN; her sister, Sr. Mary Anne Faucher of Belmont; two grandchildren, Wyatt Joe Dombrowski and Scarlett D. Dombrowski; her “adopted” daughter, Winifred Otoo; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by her brother, Mark G. Faucher, formerly of Cheshire.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Donna’s family from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Rd. (Rte 12), Sterling. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 5, in St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge Street, Sterling. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
