Subscription Update Obituary

     Yvette J. (Lacaire) Bouvier, 90, of 1 Lacaire Lane and most recently of Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living in Worcester, died Tuesday, October 9 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

She was the wife of George A. Bouvier who died in 1996. She leaves her sons Paul G. Bouvier and his wife Susan and Mark G. Bouvier and his wife Michele, all of Spencer, daughters Jeannine M. Bowen and her husband James of Beverly and Louise M. Bouvier and her companion David Cameron of West Brookfield; eight grandchildren, Jason Bowen and his wife Lynda, Justin Bowen and his wife Sarah, all of Beverly, Laura Bouvier of Worcester, Kyle Bouvier of Spencer, Nicole Whitecavage and her husband Charles of Spencer, Jason Lavely of San Diego, California, Molly Cameron of West Brookfield and Luke Cameron of Snowmass Village, Colorado; five great grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Patrick, Elizabeth and Charles, and several nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, Roger Lacaire, and two sisters, Helen Bouley and Rita Lacaire.

Yvette was a secretary for the Spencer-East Brookfield Regional School District for many years, retiring in 1993. She later worked as the parish secretary for Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish.

Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Henry and Albina (St. Germain) Lacaire, and graduated from David Prouty High School. As a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish, Yvette enjoyed singing in the choir and served on many parish ministries. She was also a member of the St. Anne’s Sodality.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Notre Dame, as well as St. Vincent Hospital for their compassionate care. A special thank you to Dr. Tony Samaha and his staff for the excellent care they provided to Yvette over the last five years.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish Memorial Fund, 60 Maple Street, Spencer, MA 01562.
