Subscription Update Obituary

     William J. Oslowski Jr., 88, of Worcester, died peacefully in his home on Thursday, December 17th while surrounded by his family.

Mr. Oslowski is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jean (Cousin) Oslowski; three sons, Paul Oslowski and his wife, Brenda of Worcester, David Oslowski and his husband, Hans of Florida and Brian Oslowski of California; a sister, Rose Williams of Worcester; four brothers, Stanley Oslowski of Worcester, Henry Oslowski and his wife Barbara of Shrewsbury, Raymond Oslowski of Leicester and Richard Oslowski of North Dakota; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Oslowski and his wife, Nancy and Angela Oslowski; 2 great grandchildren, Theodore and Eleanor Oslowski and several nephews and nieces.

Bill was born in Worcester, son of the late Boleslaw and Statia (Prachniak) Oslowski and is also predeceased by five brothers, Francis, Edward, John, Joseph and Walter Oslowski. Mr. Oslowski is a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War.

Mr. Oslowski worked at New England Canteen as a repairman for over 40 years retiring in 1992. He enjoyed doing woodworking and projects around the house and but most of all, he was the happiest when he was spending time with his family.

The funeral services will be held privately in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Burial with military honors will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Oslowski may be made to Saint Jude’s Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
