William H. Jeffery, 79 of Boylston, lost his 30-year battle with Parkinson’s on Monday, February 12, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

William was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, a son of the late Fred and Florence (MacDonald) Jeffery. He grew up in Boston where he graduated from Boston English School and later earned his bachelor’s in economics from Northeastern University. Wiliam worked as a manager for State Mutual for many years. William had a dry sense of humor who enjoyed golfing, crossword puzzles, baseball, especially the Red Sox and reading. He also was an accomplished woodworker who built his own home and was never happier than when he had a hammer in his hand.

William is survived by his wife of 29 years, Laurie (Hoogasian) Jeffery; two sons, Scott Jeffery and his wife Lori Sartre of Quincy and Matthew Jeffery and his wife Jessica of Kingston, MA; a daughter, Meaghan Jeffery of Plymouth; his brother, Robert Jeffery, and his wife Madelyn of Florida; eight grandchildren, Walker, Caden, Davis, Callum, Tallulah, Jacob, Jaxson, and Kayleigh. He also leaves his faithful dog Bert.

His funeral service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 11:00 am in All Saints Church, 10 Irving St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Parkinson’s Foundation at Suite 800, 200 SE 1st Street, Miami, FL. 33131
