Subscription Update Obituary

      Wilfred R. “Willy” Vaudreuil, 71 of Worcester passed away at home on Saturday, January 20, 2018.

Willy leaves his three children, Roger Vaudreuil of Worcester, Renee Vaudreuil and her husband Robert Conklin of Bunnell, FL and Vanessa Freitas and her husband David of Auburn; his brother, Leo Vaudreuil of Worcester; a sister, Denise Charpentier of Brookfield; three grandchildren, Lydia Vaudreuil of Worcester, Mia Freitas of Auburn and Veronica Folcarelli and her husband John of Spencer; four great grandchildren, Nylah Todd, Annabella, Bailey and Josie Folcarelli; nieces, nephews, along with many other loving family and friends. He now joins his daughter, Robin L. Vaudreuil, a sister, Jean Bourget and his parents whom have predeceased him in heaven.

Willy was born and raised in Worcester, to the late Roger P. and Florence (Perron) Vaudreuil and had also resided in Princeton for many years. Willy was a truck driver who had worked for various companies throughout his career including Holden Trap Rock and Truck Services before he retired in 2014. Riding motorcycles was Willy’s passion. He belonged to various bike clubs and many infamous adventures with friends and family. Willy also loved snowmobiling, enjoyed camping and never turned down a meal.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4-7 pm with his memorial service immediately following at 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be held privately and at a later time. In lieu of cards and flowers, the family has asked that you kindly consider making memorial contributions to: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005
