Subscription Update Obituary

  Wanda E. (Naumiec) Koskie, 81, of Worcester, passed away Wednesday February 20 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.

  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Petronella (Chomicz) Naumiec. Wanda leaves her husband of 60 years, David P. Koskie, her son, David T. Koskie and his wife Betty Ann and their children Dahnyel, Nicholas and Shawna Koskie, and great-grandchildren, Breana, Jason, Joseph, Jarred, and Giovanni Koskie, her son, James F. Koskie and granddaughter Jennifer and grandson Paul Koskie and great-grandson Kyle Koskie. She also leaves her sisters Theresa Courtney, Florence Callahan and her brother Francis Naumiec. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward, Adolph and John Naumiec and her sisters Statia Bogigian, Elizabeth Sutton and Jane "Mae" Legere Skog. She leaves many nieces and nephews.

  Wanda was a great bowler, she loved to sing and dance and her greatest gift was her love and friendship that she gave to those around her. Her husband of 60 years was the love of her life and her children were very important to her.

  The funeral will be held on Monday February 25 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St, with a Mass at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday February 24 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
