Subscription Update Obituary

     Walter G. Frick Sr, age 85, of Leicester died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at home.

He leaves his wife of 28 years, Marian J. (Goodspeed) Frick of Leicester; a son, Walter G. Frick Jr. and his wife Timberly of Shrewsbury; two step-sons, J. Scot Bray and his wife Nancy of Colchester, CT and Steven K. Bray of Pelham, GA.; a brother, Carl Robert Frick of Connecticut; six grandchildren, Mirissa D. Bennett of Shrewsbury, Kristel A. Hunt of Shrewsbury, Alycia N. Bray of Tennessee, Derek K. Bray of Maryland, Tiffany S. Bray of Tennessee and Christy Kirkwood of Colchester, CT.; four great-grandchildren, Cayden Sparks, Deziray Sparks both of Tennessee, Zachary Kirkwood of Connecticut and Chase Hunt of Shrewsbury. He was predeceased by a sister, Arlene Yeuleniski and by two brothers, Frank Frick and Ernest Frick Jr.

Walter was born in Worcester, son of the late Ernest Sr. and Malvina (Johansson) Frick and lived in Worcester before moving to Leicester 30 years ago. He was retired from Bay State Abrasive in Westboro. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Korea. He was a member of the Bible Way Baptist Church in Auburn and the D.A.V. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Bible Way Baptist Church, 18 Heard Street, Auburn, on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 11:00 am. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bible Way Baptist Church. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements
