Subscription Update Obituary
     Vivian Marie (Samberg) Killoran, 70, formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully in the loving presence of her family at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Born in Brooklyn New York, Vivian was the daughter of Bernard and Alice F. (Cupo) Samberg and lived in Boylston and Worcester before moving to Hillside Village in West Boylston.

Vivian was a graduate of North High School, received her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern and a master’s degree from Worcester State College. She taught physical education in Worcester for 8 years before teaching special education for 22 years in Boylston, Marlboro and Westminster. She enjoyed reading, sitting on the beach, traveling, and spending time with her women’s club friends at Hillside Village.

She will be affectionately remembered and missed by her two daughters, Meghan E. Walsh and her husband, Jason of Leicester and Brianne M. Killoran of Woburn; two brothers, Lawrence Samberg and his wife, Susan of Vero Beach, Florida and Richard Samberg and his wife Mary of Agawam; a grandson, Ryder Walsh; 2 step-granddaughters, Rebecca and Samantha Walsh; 5 nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Vivian’s family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service honoring her life will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 17, at Christ Episcopal Church, 1089 Stafford St., Rochdale. Interment will be held privately at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Scleroderma Foundation of New England.
