Subscription Update Obituary

     Veronica A. Whitson, 61, of Worcester died Saturday, November 11th in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her family. She leaves her husband of 28 years, Ivan L. Whitson; a son, Patrick Michelson of Worcester; a daughter, Molly Ann Geier of Worcester; four brothers, John Demers of Leominster, Paul Demers of California, Kevin Demers of Florida and David Demers of Worcester; two sisters, Sheila Fulginiti of Worcester and Michelle Rondo of Webster and a brother in law, Michael Renshaw. She also leaves grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Veronica was predeceased by a sister, Lisa Renshaw.
She was born in Leominster the daughter of Ernest Doyon and Sally (Young) Demers and was raised by Ernest J. Demers. Veronica was a master barber for St. Cyr and Paul Conzo Day Spa. She also worked as a certified home health aide and as a nanny. Veronica was a dog lover and enjoyed the time she spent on social media. Her favorite pastime was the time she spent with her grandchildren. In her younger and active years, she dreamed of being a dancer.
Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
