Subscription Update Obituary

Thomas J. Lamarche, 65, of Townsend died Wednesday, March 22nd in Shrewsbury Nursing Home. He leaves his children, Aimee Davidson and her husband, Paul, and Thomas Lamarche, Jr. and his significant other, Megan Bakutis; his former wife, Debra (D’Amico) Lamarche all of Worcester; his significant other, Almerinda Capaldo of Townsend and her children, Marc Capaldo and his wife, Julianne and their children, Emma and Jack of Raleigh, NC; Matt Capaldo and his wife, Sabrina and their son, Connor of Westborough; a brother, Robert Lamarche and his wife, Jacqueline of Worcester; a sister, Jo Ann Brady and her husband, William of Marlborough; a grandchild, Colten Davidson, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Lamarche, Jr., and a sister, Diane Lamarche.

He was born in Worcester the son of Ernest Lamarche, Sr., and Joan M. (Carroll) Lamarche. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served on the USS Lexington. He worked as a builder for the past 40 years and owned First Call Contracting. Thomas was passionate about his work, if he wasn’t working, he was lending a hand to someone else.
Mr. Lamarche was a member of St. John’s Church and served as an altar boy in his younger years. He was an avid Patriots fan and an accomplished photographer. Thomas enjoyed spending his time traveling and deep-sea fishing.

His funeral is Tuesday, March 28th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. John’s Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, March 27th from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Food for the Poor Program, 20 Temple Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
