Theodora L. Davis died peacefully on November 18TH following a brief illness. Born May 10, 1930 in Lowell, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Speros D. Lolos and Elaine (Rallis) Lolos. She was valedictorian of her 1947 class at Lowell High School. She attended Salem State Teachers College after which she went on to teach Business and English at Westford High School. At age 70 she obtained her Master’s in Education, cum laude, from Worcester State University.

She taught business and computer skills for many years in the Worcester Public School system including the Alternative School where she was nominated “teacher of the year”. Her students adored her and kept in touch over the years.

She was a volunteer at the Worcester Art Museum, first treasurer of the museum auctions, and led the first and most successful fund-raising fashion show for St. Spyridon’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

She was exceptionally well read with a sophisticated grasp of a wide-range of subjects including the arts, history, medicine, and religion. She had a passion for the English language and routinely expressed her frustration when improperly used.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, James Kotsilimbas Davis; her children Charles J. Davis and his wife Maria (Eksuzian) of Danvers; her daughter Pamela S. Davis of Worcester and formerly Cape Elizabeth, Maine and Chattanooga, Tennessee; her daughter Ellen M. Davis of Auburn; her son Michael K. Davis and his wife Angela (Forster) of Foxborough; her brother, James D. Lolos and wife Emily (Svoleantopoulos) of Chelmsford; and her four grandchildren Alexandra Davis of Solana Beach, CA, James W. Davis of Boston, Dimitrios K. Davis and Sophia R. Davis of Foxborough.

Relatives and friends are invited to join with Theodora’s Family for visiting hours from 9:30-11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street, Worcester. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00AM with burial thereafter in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richard’s Avenue, Paxton
