Subscription Update Obituary

Theodora K. (Mongeon) Rogers Moore, 87, of Auburn, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center after an illness.

Theodora is survived by her children, Jacalyn Pekala of Worcester, Kenneth Rogers and his wife Pamela of Orange, Randy Rogers and his wife Kimberly of South Carolina and John Rogers and his wife Susan of Grafton; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Arthur and Blanche (McIntosh) Mongeon and is also predeceased by her first husband, John Rogers; her second husband, Robert Moore; two sisters, Shirley Chase and Marjorie Bourque and a brother, Robert Mongeon.

Theodora worked for many years at the former Carousel Party Goods as a sales clerk.

Teddy loved spending time with her family whether it was family gatherings, trips or just dinners together. She liked doing woodworking and she enjoyed collecting elephants. She was loved and will be missed by many.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 7 at 11 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 AM in the funeral home prior to the service. Memorial contributions in memory of Theodora may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
