Subscription Update Obituary
      Teresa M. Chiapulis, 67, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Tuesday July 24th at Worcester Health Center. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph P. Chiapulis and Jean E. Beaulieu and her brother Peter J. Chiapulis.Terry graduated from Ascension High School and Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a surgical technician at St. Vincent’s Hospital in the 1970’s before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1977. During her enlistment she was stationed at Yokota Air Force Base in Japan. Upon her return to the U.S., Terry returned to college and moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she worked as a manager at Montgomery Ward and continued to serve in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.Terry survived a brain aneurysm in 1992 and was brought home to Worcester in 1996. She underwent intensive physical therapy at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital and spent a year at the Greenery for additional therapy before moving into Worcester Housing on Lafayette Street. Terry was a season ticket holder at the Worcester Ice Cats for many years and was a fixture at the end of the rink on game days with her clappers! She loved a good joke and shared her sense of humor with everyone.Terry is survived by her brother Joseph Chiapulis of Auburn and, her sisters Susan Ritchotte and her husband John of Uxbridge and, Christine Hinkle and her husband Rick of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her nephews Dylan Ritchotte and his wife Keri of Mendon, Cody Ritchotte of Missoula, Montana, Jacob Massey and his wife Shea of Muskogee, Oklahoma and her niece Rachel Massey of West Warwick, Rhode Island. In addition, Terry leaves her great nephew Ezra Ritchotte of Mendon.

There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place at a later date at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA and will be private. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at Worcester Health Center who took care of Terry over the nearly nine years of her residence there and to her friends Terry and Paul who were always there for her. If you wish, please make a donation to the charity of your choice with Terry in mind and, always think of her when you hear a good joke.
