Subscription Update Obituary

     Tafar E. Lewis, 18, of Worcester who went by the name June Valentino died Wednesday, July 3rd. He leaves his mother, Twanna (Hughes) Sharpe and his stepfather, Delroy Sharpe with whom he lived; his father, Rudolph Lewis of Jamaica; two brothers, Donte Sharpe of Houston, TX and Elijah Bomba of Worcester; a sister, Sarah Sharpe of New Hampshire; maternal grandfather, Jimmy Hughes and his partner, Karen Long of Worcester; aunts, Latasha Hughes Thomasson, Tanisha Hughes and Sasha Hughes; uncle, Tony Cane and many loving cousins and extended family. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Lula Hughes and aunt, Christine Long.

He was born in Worcester and graduated from Worcester Public Schools. June Valentino was a talented local rapper who enjoyed writing and recording music. He enjoyed going to the basketball courts and spending time with his friends. Tafar had a great sense of humor, an infectious smile and was kind and loving. He was close to his family and cherished the time spent with them.

His funeral is Friday, July 12th with a service at 11:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, July 11th from 6:30 until 8:30 PM in the funeral home.
