Susanne “Sue” Ryan, 78, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. passed away on Monday, February 28.

She was born in Worcester, MA, to Benjamin and Elizabeth (Heeran) Paquette. After high school, Sue attended secretarial school. She spent many years moving around the United States as part of a military family, finally settling in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She worked as an assistant at Robert Walker Inc. before establishing her own business which she ran for several years before retiring.

She loved antiquing and was an avid gardener. She never met a patch of earth that she couldn’t transform into a lovely flower garden or abundant vegetable garden.

She is survived by her daughters, Maureen R. Chatelain (Jean-Luc) and Kelly A. Ross (Edward); three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Shannon M. Ryan; as well as her parents; brothers, Robert and William Paquette; and a sister, Ann Burns.

Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, MA on April 22nd at 11:00am. All are welcome.
