Subscription Update Obituary

   Susan T. Gaudette, 70, of Worcester passed away peacefully, with her two sons and grandchildren by her side, on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, Worcester.

She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Farrar) Teschner, and raised her children in the Quinsigamond Village section of Worcester. She graduated from North High School in Worcester and later received her EMT certification. Susan worked at Fallon Clinic and UMass Memorial- University Campus, both in Worcester.

She was known for her giving nature especially her empathy for veteran organizations, had a big heart and enjoyed gardening at home.

She leaves her two sons, Michael A. Gaudette of Oxford and Kevin S. Gaudette of Charlton; two brothers, Craig Teschner of Grafton and William Teschner of Tennessee; a sister, Anne Teschner of North Hampton; three grandchildren whom she adored, Kaitlin, Victoria and Samuel Gaudette; nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Susan’s family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service honoring her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1 at the funeral home with burial following in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on-line to the Disabled American Veterans, www.day.org.
