Susan A. Holmquist, 70, quietly passed away November 6, 2018 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Holmquist was predeceased by her loving husband Attorney Arthur Holmquist and two of her sisters Geraldine (Honey) Kelly of Wellfleet, Massachusetts and Karen Cordial of Sterling Massachusetts. Susan leaves her sister, Mrs. Mary B. Foley of Shrewsbury (formerly of Westborough), brother-in-law Timothy J. Foley and several nieces and nephews.

A graduate of the former Hahneman Hospital School of Nursing of Worcester, Susan managed the Maternity Department for many years and served in numerous volunteer activities in her community. Upon her retirement, Susan spent many hours caring for and encouraging the various activities of her nieces and nephews. A private service will be held by the family. The family requests any donations be directed to the charity of the giver’s choice.
