It is with profound sadness we share that Steven passed away March 28th after a short illness ant Cape Cod Hospital.
Steven was born in Penley England to Kazmirz Golebiowski and Magdelena (Zievenska) Golebiowski .
He came to the USA with his family in October of 1957 and settled in Southbridge Ma.
Steve attended Southbridge Public Schools and graduated with High Honors and named in the National Honor Society. He then studied at Bay Path Vocational School to become an engineer.
After graduating he worked for several area companies including American Optical, Davol, Nypro and Hasbro which brought him to Portugal and Germany on Business. He retired from USDA in Worcester.
Steven became a US Citizen on October of 1997.
His best times were spent with family and friends. He especially loved his fishing trips with Steve and Drew. Working in the yard and garden was his relaxation or running his Lionel trains. He was a member of Cape Cod and Island Model Railroad Association.
Steve leaves his devoted and loving wife of 45 years, Susan. His amazing son, Cory, His stepdaughter Lisa Longvall. His bonus daughter Nadine and his sweet granddaughter, Zoe. He also leaves his brother, George Golebiowski of Webster, Steve leaves his nephew, Mark Dumas and wife Kerstine and their wonderful family. He leaves his niece, Kailey Moran and her husband Patrick and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Poland and Germany.
Steve was predeceased by his parents and stepdaughter, Tina Longvall whom died in 2024.
A Funeral service will be held on Tues. April 7th at 11 AM with visiting hours from 10AM – 11 AM in the First Lutheran Church of Cape Cod, 1663 Rte. 6A. West Barnstable. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Steve’s memory may be made to the First Lutheran Church of Cape Cod, 1663 Rte. 6A. West Barnstable Ma. 02668.
