Steven E. “Steve” Kupstas, 69, of Auburn, died on the morning of Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, with his family at his side.

He leaves his wife of 49 years, Linda A. (Gleason) Kupstas; his daughters, Sherri Fox, of Holden, and Tammy Kupstas, of Auburn; his grandchildren, Aleena and Logan Fox, of Holden; his brother, Edward W. Kupstas, of Oxford; his sister, Susan Roser, of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

Steve was born in Worcester, to the late Edward V. and Eva M. (Bergstrom) Kupstas. He was raised and educated in Worcester, graduating from the Worcester Boys Trade School. Steve owned and operated his own company, EDCO Drilling and Honing, Inc., in Webster, which he closed in 2021 when he retired.

Steve’s life was his cars, and he especially enjoyed NASCAR and freshwater fishing.

He and Linda were married on June 7, 1974, just recently celebrating their 49th year of marriage.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for Steve’s graveside service, which will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 17, 2023 in the Garden of Heritage II at the Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave, Paxton, MA.
