Stephanie S. Clermont, 47, of Worcester and formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, April 6, 2024 in the comfort of her home, with her devoted family by her side.

She leaves her beloved husband, Joel D. Larochelle; their daughter, Hanna M. Larochelle, whom she cherished; her loving parents, Harvey G. and Ann Marie (Pelletier) Clermont; her siblings, Allen, Mark, Michelle, and Jason Clermont, Alana Clermont-Ramos, Sarah Koback, Elizabeth and Jonie Clermont, and Sheida Del Rio; her mother-in-law, Virginia Larochelle; along with many, many nieces and nephews.

Stephanie was born in Seoul, South Korea, and was adopted by Dr. Harvey Clermont and Ann Marie Clermont when she was six years old. She was raised and educated in Shrewsbury with her beloved siblings, and graduated from Shrewsbury High School. Stephanie then attended Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, then attended and graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography.

Stephanie had worked in the field of insurance for ten years before she and Joel were married. Photography was truly her passion in life.

To say that Stephanie loved dogs would be an understatement! Her dogs were her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sterling Animal Shelter.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Stephanie’s family from 2 – 5 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 15th at St. Mary’s Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be held at a later date.
