Subscription Update Obituary

     Stanley W. Nussey, 82 died Saturday, January 23 in Heywood Hospital after being stricken ill.

His wife Annette R. (St. Germain) Nussey died in 2008. He leaves two sons; Michael W. Nussey and his wife Linda of Charlton and Daniel D. Nussey of Spencer, a daughter Marlene A. Grigarauskas and her husband Robert of Spencer, seven grandchildren; Amy Nussey, Amanda Starr, Patrick, Christopher & Brian Nussey, Ryan Grigarauskas and Julie Derosier, 10 great grandchildren; Derek, Peyton, Parker, Sophia, Mason, Gavin, Lena, Liam, Annabelle and Beau, two brothers; Donald Nussey and his wife Nancy and David Nussey and his wife Diane of Spencer, a sister Mareita Lanagan and her husband John of Bradenton, FL and his longtime companion and caretaker Sylvia Lemerise and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Shirley Rose and his faithful dog Max.

Stanley was born in Worcester, son of William and Evelyn (Pettie) Nussey. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was a bricklayer for 33 years with the Local 6 Chapter 1 Bricklayers Union retiring in 2000. He enjoyed rebuilding his Mustang, gardening, playing Keno and scratch tickets. He loved to travel with his wife especially to Mexico, going snowmobiling and spending as much time as they could at their home in Maine.

A funeral service with COVID 19 precautions, masks and social distancing will be held on Thursday, January 28 at 11:00 AM in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, Inc., P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
