Stacia M. Giaquinto, loving and beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Harrington Healthcare in Webster. She was 48.

Born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Anthony S. and Patricia A. (Toomey) Giaquinto grew up in Oakham. Stacia was an impressive athlete and basketball star at Quabbin Regional High School, graduating with the class of 1990. She would go on be her daughter’s basketball coach for many years.

Stacia earned an Associate’s Degree in Business from Quinsigamond Community College. She was the Director of Broms Academy of Cosmetology and Barbering in Holyoke and worked for over 15 years as a cosmetologist, eventually retiring to be a fulltime stay at home mom.

For those who knew her, Stacia was a massive fan of music, especially Kid Rock, the Grateful Dead, and many others. She never missed an opportunity to go to the beach, whether it was at her father’s home in Florida or going to Cape Cod with Auntie Z. Most importantly, she was a loving mother whose whole world revolved around her children.

She leaves behind her daughter, Ravyn Giaquinto and her fiancé, Daniel of Spencer; her son, Jake-Anthony Giaquinto of Webster; her brother, Sean-Michael Giaquinto and his wife, Donna of Webster; her sister, Lisa Hilerio and her husband Peter of Barre; her three nieces, Samantha, Nicole, and Annaleis; her two nephews, Peter and Michael; and her granddog Maisy and cat Guiness.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday, August 18th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Her burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her children, Ravyn and Jake-Anthony, or to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, PO Box 90249, Austin, TX 78709.
