Subscription Update Obituary

     Sophie (Lempicki) Kosky, 94, passed away Tuesday, September 30th at The Meadows of Leicester. Sophie’s husband, Peter Kosky died in 1992. Sophie leaves behind two brothers, Rudolph Lempicki of Selma, AL and Paul Lempicki of Biddeford, ME; her sister, Mae Houston of Falmouth, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Edward and Bernard Lempicki and her sister, Gladys Damik predeceased her.

Sophie was born in Worcester the daughter of Walter and Josephine (Falicka) Lempicki. She graduated from David Fanning Trade School. Sophie worked as a group leader for Vellumoid Co. for 16 years before retiring. She was a member of Pakachoag Church and its Women’s Fellowship. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing. Sophie was a talented artist and enjoyed oil painting on canvas.

A Graveside Service for Sophie will be held on Friday, October 3rd at 11:00 am at Worcester County Memorial Park, Section: Garden of the Cross, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements are in the care of LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St., Worcester.
