Subscription Update Obituary

     Shirley J. (LaPrade) Quattrucci, 88, of May St., passed away Thursday, Nov. 19 after a brief illness.

Her husband of 30 years, Joseph L. Quattrucci, died in 2007. She leaves her daughters Carol Cornacchioli of Southbridge, and Linda Beardsley and her husband Auburn of Spencer, two sisters; Pauline Pinkham of Oxford and Sandra Plante of Fall River, four grandchildren; Angela Snell of Shrewsbury, Lauren Pike of Spencer, Ann Marie Wall of Shrewsbury, and Brandon Beardsley of Spencer, six great grandchildren; Joshua,Jared, Diana, Russell, Ariana and Annika and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Albert LaPrade and sisters Jacqueline Fullen and Nancy Goodwin.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Albert H. and Emma (Sarasin) LaPrade. She graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester.

Shirley was a billing supervisor at Flexcon Co. in Spencer for 14 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish and served on many committees. She enjoyed gardening, writing poetry, quilting, and genealogy.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 23 at 10:30 a.m. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A calling hour will precede the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
