Subscription Update Obituary

   Sherry A. (White) Fitzgerald, 53, of Worcester died Saturday, January 17th in her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

   She leaves her husband of 25 years, Robert M. Fitzgerald; a son, Sean P. Fitzgerald of Worcester; three stepsons, Scott Fitzgerald of Springfield, Jason R. Fitzgerald and his wife Allison of Essex Junction, VT and Michael Fitzgerald and his wife Terry of Marlborough; her mother, Jean F. (Mugar) White Sansevero of Shrewsbury; a brother, Andrew White and his wife Tara of Dudley; three sisters, Jeanne White, Gayle White and Lisa White all of Worcester; two grandchildren, Riley and Kaia Fitzgerald both of Essex Junction, VT; her lifelong best friend, Sharon Tedesco of Worcester; her cat, Sami; and nephews and nieces. A brother, Joseph A. White predeceased her.

   She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Arthur J. White. Mrs. Fitzgerald graduated from Burncoat High School and was a bookkeeper for 10 years at C & S Lumber. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, bird watching, and gardening.

   The funeral is Wednesday, January 21st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, January 20th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
