Scott Sortwell, 54, passed away on Monday May 17, 2021 at the Day-Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT.
Scott was born in Webster, MA on May 24, 1966 and lived in the area for most of his life. Scott greatly enjoyed being outdoors whether boating or taking a long drive; he also enjoyed going out to eat with those he loved as well as engaging in lengthy conversations, Scott was certainly a talker.
He is survived by his parents William and Patricia (Gardner) Sortwell; his fiancée Michelle Hryzan of Danielson, CT; his daughter Bethany Robertson of TN; his brother Robert Sortwell and his wife Donna of Dayville, CT; two sisters Linda Moon and her husband Paul of FL, and Debbie Jones and her husband Tom of TN; he also leaves one granddaughter, as well as several nieces and nephews. Scott was predeceased by his brother Mark Sortwell.
A Celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Thursday May 27, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
