Subscription Update Obituary

     Sandra K. Aktarian, 61 of North Oxford, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Monday April 19, 2021.

Sandy was born and raised in Worcester and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Viola Aktarian. She graduated from North High School, then continued to Nursing school. After Nursing school Sandy entered the Medical field as an LPN with Umass Memorial.

Sandra is survived by her loving son Robert Moylan, his fiancée Shannon Aubin, their son Dominic of West Brookfield; a daughter Amanda Rossi, her husband Jonathan; a sister, Joyce Sullivan, her husband Jim and their children, Bryan, and Bryanna; her beloved dog Jake; extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Allen “Aky” Aktarian.

Sandy enjoyed gardening, she loved to cook and loved to go on Harley-Davidson motorcycle rides throughout New England, especially Vermont and Mystic CT. She also enjoyed taking trips down to the beach to see the lighthouses. Sandy also loved spending time with her “little buddy” Dom.

A graveside memorial will be held Wednesday April 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave. Paxton. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
