Subscription Update Obituary

     Sandra M. (Germano) Paine Fongeallaz, 81, of Spencer, died Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Rose Monahan Hospice, Worcester, surrounded by her loving family.

Her husband, Noel F. Fongeallaz, died in 2005.  Her first husband, Frank R. Paine, died in 1999.  She leaves three daughters, Sandra M. Castle and her husband Michael of Spencer, Susan E. Murphy of Worcester and Jennifer L. Paine of Worcester; a brother, Albert Germano of Michigan, sisters Marilyn Wilkesman of Worcester, Janet and her husband Ed Goff of Spencer, and Cheryl Rankin of Holland, MA; seven grandchildren, Amanda Castle of Spencer, Aaron Castle and his wife Laura of West Brookfield, Michael Murphy of Worcester, Jessica Murphy of Worcester, Sebastian Paine of Worcester, Preston Paine of Worcester and Nigel Paine and his wife Auriestelle Torres-Paine of Worcester; seven great-grandchildren, Anthony, Isaac, Maddix, Maddy, Wyatt, Mia and Maxx; nephews and nieces.   Sandra was predeceased by two sisters, Nancy Bombard and Dolly Burlingame.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of Albert and Dorothy (White) Germano.  She lived in Worcester for many years before moving to Spencer.

Sandra was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lincoln Hill Manor Nursing Home in Spencer.  She enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a very strong woman.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10:00 am at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave, Paxton, section Good Shepherd.  Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is in care of arrangements.
