Subscription Update Obituary

     Sandra A. (Kaleskas) Gercken 77, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, March 1.

She leaves her husband of 43 years, David W. Gercken, her daughters Lin S. Kelleher and her partner David Bourgery of Arlington, Lisa A. Keay and her husband William of No.Brookfield, and Dadra L. Gercken and her partner Mark Baez of Spencer, her sons Lorne W. Margadonna and his wife Lynn of Spencer, Lee Margadonna of Warren and Joshua W. Gercken of Spencer, 8 grandchildren; Shaun Kelleher and Cristina Sinclair of Washington, D.C., Billy, Zachary of N. Brookfield, Anthony, Maranda, Aden, Jacob and Jonathan of Spencer. She was predeceased by her grandson, Justin Kelleher in 2014. Also extended family, sister in-law, Cheryl Dabner and husband Donald of Puyallup, WA, Joanna Mason of Wareham and Richard Hibbert, Sr. of Brookfield, and many nieces and nephews.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of William and Alice Kaleskas and later graduated from David Fanning Vocational Technical School in Worcester as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She later worked at Auburn Life Care before retiring in 2012. She was a member of the East Brookfield Baptist Church. She loved her dogs and collecting dolls and dragonflies.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, at 11AM in The East Brookfield Baptist Church, 268 E.Main St., E. Brookfield, Ma. Burial will be private.

J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing arrangements for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O.Box 136, East Brookfield, Ma. 01515.
