Ruth S. Rivard, 72, of Worcester passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, Friday, April 7, 2023, in Advinia Care at Northbridge (Beaumont). She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years Gregory G. Rivard and her daughter Tracy Diaz. She is survived by her daughter Stacy Kulma; grandchildren, Ryan, Mandi, Jake, Kyle, Lexi, and Sadie; great grandchildren Erick, Jaxen, Jaden, and Jayce; and Daniel Diaz, Zig Kulma, Derick DeJesus; siblings, Jackie Burbo, Randy Burbo, Alan McKinney, Jean Ortiz, Lorna Liberty, and Bonnie Paquin; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, Levi, Judy, Joyce, Glenn, Bernie, Ricky, Debbie, and Leon Burbo, Mildred Courtney, and Wendy Romeo. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Levi and Ruth (Daignault) Burbo. Mrs. Rivard attended Worcester Public Schools and worked as a food preparer for many years prior to retiring. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed the pleasures of watching them grow. She spent most of her time with her grandchildren and playing bingo. Her grandchildren knew her as Meme. She was an amazing mother and grandmother that loved her family.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. A funeral service in the funeral home will be at 6:45pm. Burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA will be private.
