Ruth H. Holmes, 76, passed peacefully at home after brief illness on May 3, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years Roscoe A. Holmes Sr. in 1996. She leaves a daughter Donna Holmes of North Brookfield; two sons James Holmes of Worcester and Steven Holmes of New Braintree; her sister Carol Bullard of Barre; many grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; nieces & nephews. She was predeceased her bother George Lavigne. Ruth was born in Worcester the daughter of the late George Sr. and Ruth (Belair) Lavigne and lived most of her life in New Braintree. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral for Ruth on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11:00AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. North Brookfield. A calling hour will be held from 10-11AM prior to the service. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
